Bike Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN) is coming to the Burg June 5th!
As we gear up to double our population on June 5th, we’ll be adding information for riders and community members to stay up to date on all-things “Ridin’ the Burg”
*NOTE: Schedule is subject to change. In case of inclement weather, food and entertainment will move to The Village Campus.

Refueling Options
From our local charitable organizations to our restaurants and grocery store - we have all you need to refuel for your next leg of BRAN:
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5
1-3pm:
Taco/Taco Salad Lunch (hosted by the Petersburg Community Club) @ Highway 14 Park
Pie & Ice Cream Social (hosted by St. John’s Alter Society) @ Legion Club
Full menu (burgers, fish, chicken sandwiches, salads, etc. Vegan and vegetarian options available. (open all day) @ Knotty Pine
Chester’s Chicken + Snacks @ Rae Valley Market (open until 6pm)
5-7pm:
Steak Sandwich Dinner (hosted by Petersburg Community Foundation) @ Highway 14 Park
Homemade Pizza @ 386 Tap (open 4p-1a)
Prime rib sandwiches, full menu (see above) and an assortment of appetizers @ Knotty Pine (open all day until 1a)
THURSDAY, JUNE 6
5-8a - Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes + Fruit @ Petersburg Fire Hall on Main Street (hosted by Petersburg Volunteer Fire Dept.)

Petersburg is known for our friendly people and chill vibe. But we have a ton of stuff to do, too!
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5
1-5pm:
Tour + Shop Local Businesses: Leifeld’s Hardware (1-6p), Petersburg Building & Supply (1-5p), Rae Valley Market (open until 6p), Patriot’s Landing - come see metal artwork and see a demonstration (1-5p), and more!
American Legion: Come sit in the A/C and see a pedal tractor display, Jim Schindel’s wood art and Rae Valley Heritage Association’s 2024 raffle tractors.
Knotty Pine: A/C, pool, shuffleboard, darts, bank shot, cards and many other games. (open until 1a)
3pm:
Art in the Park, 4-Hole Golf Course, Yard Games @ Highway 14 Park
4pm:
Laredo Ridge Wind Farm Tour (shuttle will leave Hwy 14 park at 4pm)
Trivia @ 386 Tap (shuttle available)
Live Music by Jared Temme
5pm:
Tour of Raeville Church (shuttle to leave Hwy 14 Park - NORTH end - as soon as wind farm tour ends)
Entertainment (Alan Temme 6p) and Beer Garden @ Highway 14 Park
HOUSING OPTIONS
Tents
Our primary area for BRAN is the Highway 14 Park. We’ll have our welcome table, food, entertainment, and other key elements of the event located here. Park your bike here and we’ll show you where to pitch your tent!
Campers
Camper hook-ups are limited so reserve yours ASAP! The Highway 14 Park is in the middle of the action. Six spots have water and 50 amp electric. Reserve through the village office: 402-386-5551.

R&R Campsites one block from park: 7 camper sites ($20/night) with 30 and 50 amp: 402-394-8380
Dale Salber: one hook-up located on the southwest corner of town. Call 402-649-5955
Clyde Stuhr: one hook-up, located near Dale’s spot on the southwest corner of town. Call 803-968-3941
Other Options
386 Tap: Sleeps 4-5, two queen beds and a couch. $125/night. Located on the south side of town. Message Radene at 402-843-6537

Petersburg residents: we need your help to get our town ready to welcome 300+ riders June 5th! We’d love for you to grab some sidewalk chalk and head to the Highway 14 Park and decorate a square (or several).
